Travertine Slabs & CNC

We are estimating a job that includes a few vanities and (http://maplered.com) firplace in 3cm travertine slab. Have not worked with this before. Has anyone fabricated a travertine part on a cnc? Any issues?

A travertine slab fireplace would be very cool.
